Casino Cosmopol läggs ned – trots fackligt förslag

– Vi har haft en löntagarkonsult inne och presenterat ett förslag om att driva kasino vidare med reducerade öppettider. Det skiljde inte så mycket i kostnad och var minst lika rimligt som att lägga ned, säger Stefan Frankl som menar att det går att diskutera om ett statligt företag som Svenska Spel i vissa lägen har en annan roll än det privata näringslivet.
– Visst, en affärsledning måste uppmärksamma om det finns intäktsproblem. Men just nu när arbetslöshetssiffrorna stiger kanske ett statligt bolag har ett större ansvar.

Filip Vujcic, a union lawyer at Unionen, also assesses that members cannot benefit from the state guaranteed wages when a corporate reconstruction is initiated in the USA.
